Lexington in the Commonwealth of Virginia, a place where very different (and opposing) symbols of the same American history can meet unexpectedly: the observance of Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and the parade honoring two Confederate generals buried here, Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson. Today's NY Times has an article about it:
